NOTE: With no intention of distorting the Kyokushin Kanku or its meaning, the Hitonoko Kyokushin Ministry has added two characters to the Kanku to represent this ministry and its ideals. THE RED CROSS - reminds us that we all have a cross to bear. For we have all sinned and come short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23) . It represents the crucifixion that is required of self within us that the Blood of Jesus Christ can have dominion to change our hearts and minds, transforming us into a new creature in Christ Jesus (2 Corinthians 5:17) . THE DOVE - represents the Gift of the Holy Spirit that is given to us when we repent in the name of Jesus Christ for our sins (Acts 2:37-39) . It is by this Gift, that we are able....... THE GREEN LEAF - represents all wisdom, knowledge and understnding, all holyness, rightousness and obedience, all truth, grace and mercy, all meekness, humility and patience, all virtue, love and charity. It represents all Seeds of the Spirit that bring forth spiritual Fruit and is the quintessence of the Hitonoko Kyokushin Ministry.
HITONOKO - the Son of Man or Christ. KYOKUSHIN - Ultimate Truth. Hitonoko Kyokushin prophetically translates to "Christ Ultimate Truth". The Lord has revealed to my spirit a great vanity which is a sore evil that birth hypocrisy. The vanity of saints for spiritual gifts and authority has become a deterrent of the Character of Christ Jesus. We are ceasing to be Christ like in thoughts, in words, in deeds, in loveing kindness each for the other (Philippians 2:1-5) and charity. Instead we wholeheartedly persue spiritual gifts and authority not having the accompanying wisdom and understanding given by the Holy Spirit, for use with the gift and position for the Glory of God. "What gifts have you, without the mind of Christ which is Charity? For as much as the gift worketh by the power of the Holy Spirit, so should you work with great Charity. Let every man that worketh for the Lord therefore examin himself, and judge himself, that he is with Charity and Charity worketh in him. And if the gift doth manifest through you and you have not Charity; know that it is the Lord that does His will and you count for naught" (1Corinthians 13-14:1) said the Lord thy God. "Sow the seeds of the Spirit. Charity, Love and Obedience; surely then you shall reap the fruits of the Spirit; But sow vanity and surely you shall reap vexation and soreness to your spirit", said the Lord thy God.

WHO IS WHO?:- Bro. Samuel L. Cockburn, Sempai (MV & Chief Instructor) The Hitonoko Kyokushin Karate ministry visionary (MV) is Bro. Samuel L. Cockurn, Sempai. He is also the ministry's Chief Karate Instructor. Go to Sempai's page for his credentials and accolades. Bro. Randolph James, Shihan (Master Instructor & Technical Director) The Hitonoko Kyoushin ministry is honored to have Shihan James as our Technical Dircetor. He is the preeminent trainer of Ministry Visionary Bro. Samuel L. Cockburn, Sempai, and any other students desiring to enter tournament. Truly Shihan James is a blessing to this ministry. Previous to Shihan James (5th degree black belt), we were becoming affiliated with a 2nd degree black belt to be our technical director. This 2nd degree black belt was not saved and committed to the ministry's cause. But thanks be to God, that this ministry is subject to His will and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Shihan James is not only notable, a much more advanced and experienced practitioner and instructor, but also born again in Jesus Christ going on some 10 years. Yes, we are blessed indeed. Go to Shihan's page for his credentials and accolades.
